Dive in the World of traditional Yoga practice

Yoga is a personal practice. Done with respect to personal needs, predispositions and history. Community Yoga class is meant for beginners and people not sure weather they are suited for Yoga. It's a programme designed to suit even the most demanding needs. Starting from as little as 15min to 30min depending on personal preference, eventually building up to 1h when the practice progresses. The scope of course is within the most therapeutic first six asanas of the standing sequence, and the clue of the practice the last three sitting asanas.

Anyone can join, we have students raging from 5 to 70 year old. Children need to be accompanied by parents.

FAQ

How will I know what to do?

Teacher is always there to show you what to do. Be patient sometimes being lost is a part of the process.

How will I know when to finish?

Being empathic and learning to listen to our own bodies needs is a part of the process. You decide how many repetitions you will do with regard to how you will feel afterwards if you do too many.

What to do if I get tired or dizzy?

You come down to the floor and rest in balasan, child position. You do that by sitting down on your heels and placing your forehead on the floor. Stay in that position for as many breaths as you need.

I heard Ashtanga Yoga is very difficult?

Ashtanga Yoga can be very demanding. Yet it takes time and devotion to get to that stage. At the beginning the most demanding is overcoming ones own ego.

If I forgot the instructions, what do I do ?

Simply come back to standing position and wait for the teacher to come to you. Be patient, practice your single pointed concentration while doing that.

Do I need a Yoga mat?

Yes, you will need a Yoga mat. If you forgot yours or waiting to get one. You can borrow one of the two mats available for common use.

I can't touch the floor and have a belly, can I still practice Yoga?

Yes. Naturally. Anyone can practice Yoga. Anyone can find 15 min for themselves.
